Tinfoil time: Santorum for president |
|
The neocons are desperate to retake the White House at any cost. Here is what they have to work with:
A) Bush and Cheney are doing badly in the polls because, in spite of media support, the public is beginning to notice they’re evil.
B) The puppet Bush is rapidly becoming a liability--too brain damaged, drugged, and alcohol soaked to utter coherent sentences. He might slip and blurt out something important. Or he might start babbling so incoherently that even the supportive media wouldn’t be able to cover for him.
C) Using a terror attack to boost Shrub’s popularity is a chancy proposition--it’s been talked about too much. It might work or it could backfire.
D) The seeds have been sown to get the population to accept a postponed election.
E) The heir apparent, Santorum, is waiting in the wings. He appeals mightily to the conservative base but can’t be run for president because it’s important to be loyal to the drunken sot in the White House.
Given this set of circumstances, the solution is obvious. Do you see it?
That’s right: kill Bush off in a “terror” attack right before the elections, postpone elections, and have Santorum run in a public outpouring of sympathy for the Repugs. Cheney will, of course, be too grief-stricken to consider running again and will quietly retire to run things from behind the scenes. He’ll be replaced by some generic and compliant Repug--Coleman comes to mind.

Santorum has as much of a chance as Pat Buchanan or Pat Robertson does.

4. Man-on-dog Santorum is a loon |

He has a worse messianic complex than Bush, if that's possible.
I'm hoping he gets voted out in '06 and that'll be the end of a political career that should never have gotten started in the first place.

Look at what the Repubs are doing for their convention. The major speakers are all "Moderates". They are putting up a full smoke screen to keep the public from seeing just how radical/extreme this administration really is. They dont' want to show the true face of the party and Santorum would expose it.
Jack Germond said this OPENLY on MTP yesterday morning. I don't think it sunk in to anybody but it's a truth that needs to be repeated over and over.
