Bush Haters worldwide are still watching the famed 'Bush is Nazi' add on MOVEON.ORG -- despite repeated claims by the site's founders the short had been removed more than six months ago!

As of Monday morning <11 am Eastern> -- the ad was still carried on MOVEON's website -- under the curious file name "renamed.again.renamed.mov.FKbxnT3hzaHCcOR7vWvRYmZpbGUtMTM4OQ--.mpg"

I'd be interested to know how Drudge found that file on Moveon. It would be impossible without hacking the server.

Their oppo research team is reduced to finding what backup renamed file contains the ad.

He dug up an old article mildly critical of Kerry that was posted in the deep, dark reaches of the Edwards campaign site. Wasn't really much to it. It was a reprint of a newspaper article that didn't reall slam Kerry much.

The real irony is that I utilized Drudge's little 'comment' box to send him links to Bush's "Wild Eyed" ad that shows part of the MoveOn ad. Drudge never reported it.

I just posted about this over at Media Matters. Hopefully, they'll skewer Drudge over this.

From the mad file name it looks to be a program generated file. Maybe a backup or clip file.

I mean, personally, as soon as I saw the filename I knew it was a Bush=Hitler ad.

Of course, the grotesque ad on Bush's website is much harder to find. You have to click the giant green "play" icon on the front page of their site.

Buried in the site with no public access vs. taking it off the site is a VERY fine line. The only one who is giving is mileage is Drudge and the RNC when Moveon dropped it months ago. Things that make you go hmm...

When looking at signs at anti-American protests everywhere and every time Bush goes abroad, do the signs compare Bush to Hitler or do they compare John Kerry to Hitler? Countries where they still remember Hitler make the connection between Bush and Hitler and they should know better than Sludge would know!

31. I have found I'm much happier not going on the drudge website, not

turning on AM radio anymore and not watching CNN or any other news program other than Larry King or CBS nightly news. I've quit reading newspapers and I just go through here to get my news now. It's stupid things like drudge that although he has every right to print lies and embellish truths, he shouldn't. He reminds me of a kid who was picked on at school for being inadequate and now he gets his revenge and jollies by printing harmful lies and hurting lives. Normally, we ignore Matt Drudge. If you pay him too much attention, you just start to feel slimy yourself, like you need to run and take a shower.

But, back in June of 2000, we wrote a couple of editorials about Drudge, because he is typical of Republican gays in the media and government who shore up right wing leaders who advance an anti-gay agenda.

Indeed, right now Bush and the Congressional Republicans are trying to exploit "class value" wedge issues by promoting an anti-gay marriage Constitutional Amendment, one that they know will never be affirmed by enough states to become law. It is political opportunism at its most base.

Yet, how does Drudge, who has been outed by a variety of people -- including David Brock -- since we first wrote our June, 2000, editorials justify his anti-gay innuendo?
