Just saw in WaPo today smirk again spreading this lie. He has to be
called out on this!

Blix and his team were there doing their job, * told them to leave!

Outrageous!

1. Did they point out the lie?
Why don't they do that? It's perfectly fine to state facts in the news isn't it? Just because someone can speak doesn't mean that they're telling the truth. ARRRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!

There are still people who are that misinformed? Inspectors were in Iraq before Bush launched his war. That's a fact and your president is lying to you when he says otherwise. Don't people ever get tired of being shown such contempt by their "leader?"

7. check this speech out
And, therefore, we must deal with each threat seriously. We must see threats as they are. And that's why I brought up the cause to Congress and the American people and the international community to fully debate the issue of Saddam Hussein. He's a threat to America, he's a threat to our close friends and allies. He's a man who has said he wouldn't have weapons of mass destruction, but he's got them. He's a man who at one time, we know for certain, was close to having a nuclear weapon. We don't know how close he is today, because he shut down his country.

You know, not only does he have weapons of mass destruction, but, incredibly enough, he has used weapons of mass destruction. And he's used weapons of mass destruction not only against people in his neighborhood, but he's used them against his own people. He hates America. He can't stand what we stand for. He's had connections with shadowy terrorist networks like al Qaeda. He would like nothing more than to use an al Qaeda type network, if not al Qaeda itself, to be the advanced army to utilize his training and his arsenal of weapons of mass destruction on his most hated enemy, the American people.

9. He gets away with that every time
I remember when he said it once while he was sitting right next to Kofi Anan! Nobody ever calls him on this BS. When he was interviewed by the Irish reporter he said Saddam "refused to disarm"! He didn't have any arms to dis!! Come on reporter people! Do you damn job!!!

11. Whoever writes his speeches has
forgotten about the internet. The internet never (hardly) forgets anything anyone has said or done. Every word of his speeches can be checked with google within 2 seconds.

12. This is but one of a litany, a veritable plethora, of lies played over and
over that that satisfies the base, most in Congress and on the Supreme Court, and most of the mainstream media.

15. Why doesn't Kerry/Edwards call him on this?
<snip>

But Saddam refused to open his country to inspections, Bush said.

"So I had a choice to make: either take the word of a madman or defend America. Given that choice I will defend America."
