Why it's necessary to keep bringing up Nazis....
Because they come back... they look different, have different ways of telling the big lie.... it's all the same.
I watched a show on the History Channel today about Gobbles....and the others. If you can't see that our current Admin. has used many of the same ploys to wow the people then I don't know what else you need....

1. That Gobbles was a real turkey, wasn't he?
Sorry, couldn't resist.

4. And you shouldn't...
I didn't have the energy to get up and go see if I was spelling his name right.

2. You should see the Brownshirts in action for the local Republican,
Chris Kobach, running against Kansas's lone Democrat, Dennis Moore. Moore isn't even what a lot of us think of as Democrat, but Kobach has his troops out tearing down Moore signs and intimidating other campaigns.

Maybe not here (Norfolk) but somewhere... Norfolk republicans are pretty docile... not like Va. Beach and Chesapeake (pat Robertson territory)

6. I think its necessary because
They are the only good example I know of to compare with the Bush Administration.

There is on thing I keep in mind though, and the most vile of Bush supporters would be wise to learn about it, is the "night of the long knives". Anyone remember what that was all about and what happened to whom?

7. Wasn't that when the party cleaned house so to speak?
A lot of the more idealistic and radical parts of the Nazi Party (such as they were) were expunged so as to make the party a more comfortable fit with the upper class. Or at least that's one interptetation, but a pretty good one based on what I've read.
