If * is still in office a year from now, will life here be tolerable?
If he steals the election, or if we don't have an election, or even if we still have a RW congress, will the nation be livable? Will AAR and RadioPower still be on the air? Will there be havens of sanity like Vermont, NM, and CA? Will my kids be safe from the draft?

until it collapses from its own stupidity. Expect lots of wierd things all the same.
I believe there are universal limits to mendacity and folley.
Who knows, we may have crossed them aready.

4. Tolerable for people with means or without brains.
It will be pretty depressing for everyone else. Those of us on the left will have to get used to being in opposition for a long time to come.

If the draft is coming back, then Bush* would do it as quickly as possible after the election. He wouldn't want to wait and have to do it with congressional elections coming up in 2006. I suspect they'll try to privatize Social Security first and then move to the draft. They'll do tax cuts on capital gains/dividends in 2006.

Bush unbridled is going to be devastating to the economy, social services, foreign relations, civil liberties.
