Advertising in California
OK I live in Northern California (Bush does not have a chance in hell of winning this state--YES)

But--why am I seeing his television ads on tv all the time? Primetime ads--lengthy ads (2 mins), lots of ads every day and night??? Why is Bush spending money in my state? Does he think he has a chance here??

Am I the only one seeing this-or have others seen ads in places they do not expect them?

BTW, I have seen a few Kerry ads, but not very many comparatively. I just wonder if there is a strategy here that I am obtuse to?

1. I live in northern ca as well
and have seen lots of ads for both but mainly on cable. I dont know Dim-son is bothering, it's like throwing cash out the window.

3. No.Cal here too. Yes, there are an inordinate amount of ads
for Bush being pushed here. My thought is that they do it BECAUSE it is a state he wants to win over.... He needn't waste cash on a Red state, for example. I was teed because we didn't have enough Kerry ads, though I'm seeing more of them recently.

I don't know how "north" you folks are, I'm just south of San fran. I have relatives who live in the Chico area and they are staid republicans...so are any number of people who live in the Valley--though we hope that the tide is turning

Peace~~

Two words: Time Warner. Go ahead, scream at them until you are blue in the face, nothing will happen. I get my news off the Internet, and BBC now, it's the only source that does not shove a bunch of conservative propaganda down my throat.

No Bush ones or Kerry ones.

I'm sure closer to November we'll see some.

Let Bush waste his money.

8. Popular vote?
Maybe they don't want to lose the popular vote by millions in case they are planning to steal the electoral votes.

11. You would think he was god with the money and attention he receives
from the local merchants and developers in Stockton. The mayor mines the freeper fundie vote to great advantage. Plus Richie Pombo manages to get reelected rather easily. Makes me want to puke.
