GOPERS WANT WHOOPI'S 'FAST' EXIT

July 13, 2004 -- WASHINGTON — Some Republican activists are launching a boycott of SlimFast diet products to protest SlimFast spokeswoman Whoopi Goldberg's X-rated rant against President Bush at a New York fund-raiser for Democrat John Kerry last week.

Chat pages on pro-Bush Web sites like FreeRepublic.com are posting links for complaints to SlimFast or parent company Unilever, along with reports from angry consumers about what they wrote in their complaints.

I use Slimfast and I am big fan of their product and the article says the owner of Slimfast is a big time Democrat. . .lets show them our support.

"This is (still) a Democracy and people have the right to voice their opinions.

Please do NOT listen to those right-wing extremist who threaten to boycott Slim-Fast if you don't get rid of Whoopi as your spokes person. They certainly do NOT account for 50% of your consumers.

Could you please let me know what products besides Slim-Fast you produce, so I can support your company by buying more of your products.

I haven't used Slim-Fast in quite a while but hope to find out what other products come from them. I'll make an extra effort to buy their stuff.
