If Bush goes ahead in the polls, is it time to go "negative" on him? |
|
Will it be time to hammer him?
He says America is safer and at the same time, we are told we may be attacked at election time and elections may be cancelled? He says it was the right thing to do but most of the world disagreed with his invasion. Now, it appears they were correct and Mr Bush was wrong. He wants to blame the CIA and intelligence for his failures when it was he and his VP that insisted on their own intelligence and lied to Cogress and the American people. Yes, lied. And now we are supposed to trust him to proect this nation when he was the one in charge when we were attacked on 9/11. He had been on vacation for much of his term up to that point, and had ignored numerous warnings. Can people really trust him? Better take a hard look at Mr Bush. He talks the talk but he doesn't walk the walk.

But all you have to do is tell the truth about the crimes they've committed.
Cheney pressured the CIA to provide ambiguous intelligence. Bush lied to congress about it. Rove and Libby outed a CIA agent. The administration put out propagandic newsreels featuring actors posing as reporters, saying what a great deal the Medicare law is for seniors.
Bush: If you're going to be a decisive leader and take America to war, at least get the goddamn country right.

2. I think the time is rapidly approaching.... |

It's just a matter of time before his lies put him ahead in the polls. Up to this point, Kerry has done well by staying positive but he is getting hammered, in my opinion, and that is why Bush is as close as he is.

3. As I've said before. . . |
|
A negative campaign is going to hurt Bush a lot more than Kerry if they both engage in it. Simply put, Bush has SO MUCH baggage to account for, and Kerry simply does not. More importantly, people haven't been damaged by Kerry's baggage recently they way they have been by Bush's.
Really, Bush is the ideal target for a negative campaign, since you could craft a very brutal one using nothing but news clips of him "speaking".
