Representative John Cornyn (R-Tex) has just explained, in clear language, why we can not allow same sex marriage in even a few states. Its because if they marry in Massachusetts sooner or later they will leak out and contaminate the other states. As I understood him he seemed to say that if they would just stay put he wouldn't mind so much if they got married, but they just won't do it.
The people of Texas need to do something about their representatives.

1. I like the talking point "They're going to force homosexual marriage on |
|
all of us!" How many freepers think this means the evil commie Dems are going to make every single one of them marry a homosexual?
Ha ha--it's sad, but somehow farcical to see this rigid dance of death Frist is leading the Congress through, just to show the maniacs in the asylum how resolute he is in keeping to the insane code.

A dickhead with any other title is still a dickehead though...just more powerful in this case.

One, John Cornyn is a complete piece of shit.
Two, would somebody please explain to me how gay marriage in any way affects existing or future marriages, gay, straight, polyamorous or otherwise? I hear all kinds of crap, but never once have I heard even a bad reason as to why gay marriage is a problem. I mean, other than marriage can be a pain in the ass in general.
And "slippery slope" is a bullshit argument, don't even try it.
