HILLARY NO-SPEAK AT DNC
Democratic National Committee on Tuesday released its lineup of the big-name politicians speaking at the convention this month, and it contained every major Democratic star except one. There was Bill Clinton near the top. Al Gore was there too. And so was Ted Kennedy and a few others. But Hillary Rodham Clinton was nowhere to be found...

3. this is a good thing
we would do best to keep her on a low profile.
her high negatives are more likely to bring out the anti-hillary vote and push swing voters away than her positives are to energize and already psyched-up base.

she needs to do a lot of work to undermine the anti-hillary b.s. heaped on her during the clinton presidency before she can appeal favorably to the swing voters, unfortunately.

5. maybe they thought one Clinton was enough.
And Bill has been stumping for Kerry while on his book tour.

And Hillary causes much agitation among the GOP (conservatives and moderates alike) Much to my entertainment. They have to use her name over and over and over. The GOP lives in total terror of her, its the funniest thing I've ever seen in politics! A bunch of old white men cowering at the mention of a woman!

Every once in a while I like to drop her name at my office (a 'pug strong hold) and watch them writhe and hiss like snakes at the very name.

All phear the power of Hillary!

7. They will in the end...
Do then why should she help out the Democrats raising money if they won't even let her speak to her base? She has raised well over 30 million dollars since she entered the senate for other candidates. She does so much for the Party, and then they don't even ask her to speak.

Here is my prediction. This is going to cause so much chaos, and the DNC will get so many complaints, she ends up speaking, or being a surprise speaker. There is no way they can have a Democratic Convention, and not have Hillary Rodham Clinton speak.

I see the "chaos" you speak of happening.

trying to get Hillary to run for president in '04. I don't know what your motivations are, but you're wasting your time.

14. Hillary doesn't deserve to be labelled a Democrat
she should switch parties, go to the Repubs, where they like to invade people for no reason and kill thousands and express absolutely no regret over it.

She can rot in hell.

9. Slimeball rethugs will say that she's turning her back on Kerry/Edwards
so that she can make her run in 2008.

Those scummy snake GOP retards would have their fellow numbskulls believe that Bill Clinton put her up to it.

We don't buy that shit over here.

Hillary will speak.

and be able to tell the public how great the idea of the Iraq war was and how the Democratic Party supports the conquest even without evidence of am immediate and imminent threat.

17. Thats bullshit
What you said is total bull shit. She owed it to New York to vote for the war when the vote came up and she knew what she knew at that point. They didn't know the president was lying, and that was only for last resort. Remember, her state was the one attacked on 9/11

21. I don't think its bull-what you said.
She is proud of the vote and for the war even without WMD's from what I gather. If she did it for New York, someone needs to tell her Iraq didn't do it.

25. Yeah, she and Lieberbush should go form their own party
And I can think of many others who should join them.

It should be based in Iraq and should be "Americans for the Death of Iraqis" and their logo should be a big pile of American dollars ON FIRE.

27. You are talking like she isn't proud the same way John Kerry is proud of
his vote. He said just the other night that he was proud of it and didn't care that one or two members regreted it.

24. gee, how come almost everybody HERE knew "the pres was lying"?
and she did not?

If she didn't know the president was lying she's either too fucking stupid to be in public office, or else she's a pandering fool who follows instead of leads, or else she's a complicit DINO who needs to get sent to jail with the rest of them.

Either way it's not a pretty picture.

22. Very Good Idea...
... beat the GOP at its own game.

Hiliary evokes a highly negative response amongst certain people. I know of not just a few who are socially rather moderate but fiscally conservative. They do not like her, at all; ironically, they don't have the same intensity of negativity about her husband. It's just something about her that they have bought into and that is something with which we have to effectively deal if we are to prevail.

Keeping her in the closet until the morning of January 20th is fine by me.

This is not the year for principle. This is the year to win. At any cost. And, by any means.

Spare me any politically correct bullshit and how much we are like "them" if we play by these rules. It's reality. Deal with it - or be content to spend the next four years venting your anger on an internet bulletin board over Bush/Cheney redux with your sacred principles intact.
