Celebrities performed at a fundraiser for John Kerry on Thursday July 8, 2004 at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The performers included Jon Bon Jovi, John Fogerty, Whoopi Goldberg, John Cougar Mellencamp, Paul Newman, Chevy Chase, John Leguizamo, Jessica Lange, and Meryl Streep.

The event was titled, "A Change Is Going To Come: The Concert for John Kerry," and was attended by 6,000 people.

Bush campaign manager Ken Mehlman says he is so shocked by the criticism of Bush at the event that he demands to see a tape.
