Plame Situation Must Be VERY hot. They handed it to Hitchens.

According to drunken Chrissy, treason is a non-story, while the utter bullshit red herring that "North Korea, Libya, Iraq, Iran, and China " were "engaged in illicit negotiations over the export" of Niger yellowcake uranium is the "real story."

This article is far lamer than even Hitchens' chock-full-o-logical-fallacies anti-F9/11 screed. You can actually hear the gears in his brain straining to somehow, someway twist traitors into victims.

How long before Hitchens is working for The Weekly Standard?

1. What has all this to do with outing a CIA Agent?
It wouldn't matter if the whole world was making and exporting yellow cake. Or if Plame did or did not recommend Wilson for the job. The ONLY thing that matters is her name being released to a "journalist". Hitchen sounds like Hannity.

2. exactly
even if it turns out to be true and Saddam was bathing in yellow cake nightly... someone in the White House still committed a felony by releasing her name! WTF? Why is that so hard for these right-wingers to understand?

3. It's called the finger in the ears syndrome
place one finger firmly into each ear and scream "la la la la la, I can't hear you, la la la la la la"

4. Tell that, please, to the participants in the "Plame" threads
which seem to digress into all manner of distraction.
IT'S ABOUT THE LEAK!!!

5. It's more like Dennis Miller. It's like he knows he's full of shit, but
he's trying desperately to cash in as a neocon flack hack, no matter what the cost to his intellectual and journalistic reputation.
