WRFX 940 Miami FL drops Fox sports and returns to its heritage WINZ calls with "progressive" talk, including Air America and Ed Schultz;


This is a large signal that can be heard throughout South Florida. More amazing is this is a Clear Channel station!!! Seems the combination of success at WLIB in New York and KPOJ in Portland is now pushing Clear Channel to roll the dice in Miami!

Congrats to AAR and all those who've helped move the concept of Progressive Radio to this very big step.

If this format succeeds in Miami - making it the third major market to succeed in - then I'd have to think Clear Channel will go forward in a few other major markets.

3. It would be good news if they weren't screwing up Randi's show

They've split her show up in the wierdness manner possible. It's like they want it to fail.

It's not as bad on the Portland station. It's a 3 hour delay but it isn't split up.

Why does Clear Channel hate Randi?

She's still under agreement with the station in Ft. Meyers...also Clear Channel...that does air the show live...and has the market exclusive. Or so I'm informed...
