Where's Buchanan and Goodman when you need them?

Remember all those great records of the 60's and 70's that had voices, usually like a reporter, mixed in with bits of current music tracks (the original flying saucers, watergrate, superfly meets shaft, the touchables)?

Seems like with todays political climate, what a dope * is, the war in Iraq, and election 2004 looming, a great comedy record could be created to make fun of any of that stuff going on.

Too bad I'm not very creative when it comes to scripting comedy sketches or even mixing music or I'd be right on it!

DU has artists and Flash developers, but do we have anyone who's creative enough to take up this challenge?
