Who is wearing red on Fridays?
Someone a couple of months ago suggested people wear red on Fridays to show their opposition to Bush and to be able to identify each other as anti-Bush. I know a number of people who have been doing this. But is it catching on yet?

3. The idea was posted on the Dem-CA groups a few weeks ago.
So at least it's there. Don't know about other places. Hey, I'm game.

10. We can rope them in the same way the Christians roped in the Pagans
by pretending that their December celebration was really when Jesus was born. (He was actually born in October) It was a diplomatic ploy that worked.

11. I did something different
I liked the idea of wearing something to register protest--and to mourn for the war dead--so I've made dozens of black ribbons (like the AIDs ribbons and breast cancer ribbons), with red, white, and blue beads sewn in the center and a small safety pin on the back. I've been giving them away at every progressive gathering I've been to for the last couple of months. They're very popular. At work, I've been asked what it is, and when I tell them, they ask for one. Very cheap and easy to make. A spool of 1/2" black satin ribbon is very inexpensive.

14. This will be my third week of wearing red on Friday.
I'll keep it up until November - and beyond, should the unthinkable happen.
