...and Dallas. Oh yeah, also freeperville, O'Reilly, and my dog's anus. Total troop contribution- about 113. Plus tax.

3. Palau, Solomon Islands, Marshall Islands, Micronesia...
I googled for Coalition of the Willing List and got a lot right off the bat. Most of it's from March 2003, but Centcom has something from this week. http://www.centcom.mil/Operations/Coalition/joint.htm

March 2003: Heritage Foundation lists 54, and tells what they contribute

Maps, members, troop numbers are at http://www.geocities.com/pwhce/willing.html

I guess the ones that have always shocked me into sadness are the Pacific Island nations. What the heck does this conflict have to do with them? What threats or promises were meted out to dragoon them into sending their people?

4. Support the US or be selected for new nuclear tests?
OK, that's probably a little exaggerated, but small Pacific islands could have their lives made really difficult by American bureaucracy if it chose to. Holding up imports and exports, withholding aid and/or loans, causing problems with flights and ships to them, etc.
