this film received a raptupus applause followed by an overall feeling of depression about the the subject matter.
my feelings :
# We know most of the facts presented but Michael Moore has put the story into a concise and easily understood format.
# the courage of Americans today who get out and protest..what are they up against !
# the despair of the innocent Iraqis caught up in this battle..how can they not hate us ?
#the sadness and decency of Lila Lipscomb and family
( hope that woman outside the White House feels ashamed)
# the men (and woman) surrounding Bush..either crooked or mad
# my re-assesment of George W Bush..difficult to hate..looking into his eyes is looking into a vacuum..there is no soul..it's like a dark place, a void..like an opening to the gates of Hell that has allowed evil to flood in.
writer Tom Keneally ( 'Schindler's List ')
actor David Wenham ( Faramir from 'Lord Of The Rings')
Academay Award winning film Director Gillian Armstrong ('Charlotte Gray')
former Intelligence Analyst Andrew Wilkie who resigned before the Iraq invasion in protest that there were no WMD..repeatedly derided
in public by the right wing..now proved correct.
