this working class person doesnt want a tax cut to |
|
help me pay for insurance. i am willing to pay my taxes, keep them. i want them to go after the insurance companies and implement policy that i get coverage, fair coverage at a reasonable price and not a screw me price for not getting anything. i know it is a harder elephant to go after, but reality that is the drain on the money. not allow me more to be screwed more
i want this approach in fiscal responsibility

3. Do you work for a living or do you live off investments? |
|
When you fill out your tax form, is most of your income earned or unearned income?
Do you pay +30% on your earnings or less than 15%?

8. i am paying up the butt every way i turn |
|
my husband highest tax bracket, and if i go back to work, higher. off paycheck. he owns a small business and the taxes he pays on that spins the head. i pay my share
i am suggesting that i am willing to invest in this nation. i need more out of schools, i have kids and i have concerns for the kids i love, of single parent, and their situation and seeing what is happening to the system
i am willing to put kids in higher risk buying a car, small size ecologically responsible vehicle, both to not feed the irresponsibility of those driving the huge vehicles cause they obstruct view, take up too much space in selfishness and safety to my kids, cause there are a lot that cant afford those vehicles, and because of the sucking of oil.

4. that's a good question |
|
I think we should broaden it. Anyone who goes to work and brings home a payroll check is working class. Everyone else (those who don't need to work because their money is doing their work for them) can be called the wealth class.
That's how you wage class warfare. Point out that those with $$$ don't do anything other than use their money (that they inhereted from a generation that got it exploiting a previous generation of workers) to get more money.
We're Americans. We value hard work.

5. i am refering to this working person |
|
where i can pay my bills comfortably, where i can meet my needs. i dont throw money away, i dont have problem paying tax, though i cant look at all the taxes i pay, is hard to see, cant look too closely at the insurance i pay is offensive. but i dont have issue being a part of u.s. paying my share for the things we need like schools.
now from your question i am going to guess you are suggesting there are working class that cant afford to pay the tax and need the tax break, and my suggestion to that, just addressing a tax cut and not bring insurance into line, the price will continue to grow, and there will be no tax cut good enough for that person struggle.
i dont need a bunch of promises in tax cut, i need promises that we are going after the corps, the pharmacutical, the insurance, the tax on corporation ect.........

and was not making a tax argument. I just wish people would give a solid webster's dictionary across the line definition of "working class".

2. I agree - corporations have too much power, |

especially the CEOs. Unfortunately, neither side will fight these giants, because they are the ones who fund them, in my opinion. That's the one thing Nader says that gives him points. I firmly believe that this election is too crucial to win him my vote, though.
At least Edwards seems as if he would be willing to fight them, he has before - one on one. We'll find out when he becomes VP.
