Have you noticed gas prices rising again?
I haven't been out for a week, gas was 1.66 a gallon then, yesterday, we filled up at 1.90 a gallon. I guess georgie* hasn't been jawboning with the saudis lately.

4. 1.79 yesterday 1.95 today
Glad I already filled up this week.

The other thing is that the local station we use now changes the price of gas several times a week - sometimes daily.

What's up with that? They only get their gas once a week.

6. This AM, 1.77... this PM, $1.97...
Don't worry, the upcoming new Saudi regime when the old king snuffs it will make prices a LOT higher... they don't like us, I gather.

7. Always Buy Gas on Wednesday
I track the trends here where I live, and here at least, the price spikes up super high on Thursday usually, then might rise even higher, then might eventually creep down. But it is always higher on Thursday than on Wednesday. Not quite sure why.

It'll go 1.99 (Thursday) --> 1.99 (Friday) --> 1.97 (Saturday) --> 1.96 (Sunday) --> 1.96 (Monday) --> 1.96 (Tuesday) --> 1.90 (Wednesday) --> 2.06 (Thursday).

That's a pretty typical pattern around here.

9. Went Down, then back up Quickly
It was just under $2 here, at about $1.98 for about a week, then it rapidly fell to about $1.77. Now, within a week, its back up to $1.89 and shows no sign of slowing down.

Oilman for a President my ass.
