Congressional Ballot: Democrats 45% GOP 39%

If the Congressional elections were held today, forty-five percent (45%) of Likely Voters say they would vote for a Democrat while 39% say they would vote for a Republican.

but it doesn't mean much unless it's about specific state races

2. Not for accuracy. If they are saying the numbers favor Dems by 6% then

they are more likely coming out much higher, like by 11%.

3. Rasmussen tends GOP, interestingly enough

The frequent Fox News guest pollster tends a bit GOP at least in the presidential. I usually figure about 2% due to methodology. This is strong but is only a generic. The problem as always is ousting incumbents. But, hey, with DEMS now acting like a highly motivated 2004 version of Newt's "angry white men" of 1994.... maybe something IS in the air this year. We'll see. Pay attention to GOP leaning Charlie Cook on this stuff and try to read between the lines.
