if he starts to go back up, I will have to change it back but I stand by motto for now, "It is hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere". I am hoping a comeback will be impossible for smirky/snarly.

will the media whores drop their "Kerry doesn't seem to be gaining, despite Bushs missteps" meme? Notice, we no longer here "popular wartime president" or "massive campaign war chest?" For weeks now, we've been hearing about Bush's "terrible" press (based entirely on his massive screw-ups and criminal deceits), and how Kerry can't seem to benefit from them because he' just so darn unlikable. Now that Kerry is leading in all the polls, can they freakin' drop that ridiculous and dishonest assessment of Bush infallibility?

all the way through Kerry's presidency, they'll be saying he only got elected because Bush was so unpopular.

I don't mind that Kerry gain slowly but surely. To me that indicates more decisiveness by voters than large swings back and forth. Of course, I won't be totally comfortable until we have a good solid lead but I have faith we will. Imagine--if we win in OH and keep the States we had in 2000 we won't even need FL--although I would love it if we did win there too.
