protest of the stolen 2000 election? Of course you have to believe that Wellstone was murdered to even consider the question. I do think he was murdered and I wonder if he did sign on with the 2000 protest (is that what you call it?) would they have murdered him? Would it have been too obvious? Just a thought.

1. I heard the Senate was not asked, that the matter was a symbolic one

or the CBC didn't have their ducks in a row? Which is understandable as stolen elections in the US were unprecidented, as far as we know? Not sure what to think.

I know Kerry said he wasn't asked, and I can't imagine Wellstone not signing if he was. Unless of course, they simply knew it was futile?

2. I think the timing of his death was strange
But I hate conspiracies no matter how true, because they turn people away from valid points.

Wellstone was not killed by the black caucus though, that would backward. Seems like they would kill trent lott first...

3. I think you misread the post.
I did also the first time I read it. I think the question is: If Wellstone had supported the CBC, would his murderers have refrained from killing him because he would have been too "obvious" a target then?

4. oh, dunno.... I suppose not though.
If they had the balls to do it when they did it, they wouldn't have reservations about it at anytime.
