I hope the Plame indictments are withheld for awhile.

At least until we are closer to the election. Ideally, I want to see those "senior" administration members indicted after the Republican convention. That is when each candidate's support will begin to form. An indictment of senior Bush administration officials will throw the whole "message" off balance.

The question aside from wedge issues will be - "Are you safer?" The answer is - "hardly so, now that Valerie Plame's network has collapsed."

And yet, recent history suggests that exactly how long before the indictments get issued.

They are pressuring, bullying, and threatening Fitzgerald and his team (perhaps a nice Phony Ricin Scare to intimidate and allow the Busheviks to copy all of his files)

3. Just an educated guess

Like supposing in 1938 that the 10-hour meeting between Hitler and Austrian Prime Minster Kurt Schlussching had a fair amount of shouting and bullying.

It makes sense to suppose the obvious in Totalitarian Nations, be it Nazi germany or Imperial Amerika.

So that's my line of reasoning, and it has come through MANY times since 2001 (more evidence Amerika is no longer truly free, because this way of thinking usually didn't work before the Bloodless Coup of 2000, no matter which party was in charge)

5. I contribute this addition.

But we must qualify this as a 'want' rather than a 'distinct possibility' with some measurable amount of probability. The chance of this happening is just as good as anyone's speculation as to how and when these indictments will be issued.
