1. All of them
Credit Cards enslave you to corporate power. Do everything you can not to use them.

2. Glad I quite banking with them.
They bought Cal Fed Bank (who I LOVED) and it was never the same.

7. I will never get into that hole again
Its been about 8 years since I got out of credit card debt and I will never go there again. If I can't cover it with my Visa check card or Amex (pay it all at the end of the month), I don't do it.

12. Yeah, but it's issued by MBNA.
So, the good is tempered by the bad.

9. MBNA is largest GOP contributor
If you have any MBNA Credit Cards or Loans pay them off and replace them. They pile interest on top of interest.

10. Credit cards should only be used to spend money that you have...
I can't stand the way these companies prey on the poorest people in our society holding a vast portion of unsecured debt while charging exorbitant interest rates.

11. Go through your credit union
Non-profit, locally owned, managed and run. You're not just an account holder, you're a member of a credit union.

15. MBNA = Fraud
I spent over two hours on the phone with those SOB's last night. I have great credit. I got a reward bonus. It says it is an $80.00 coupon. Says you can get 8 videos at $9.97 each and pay $3.95 for all 8 videos. So, I send it in and two bills later (after the 30 days to send back the videos) I get charged $80.00. So I call and MBNA says there is nothing they can do about it. They told me I could dispute it, but their coupon and the reward company was not affiliated with them. Long story short, last night I finally got so frustrated I cancelled my two credit cards with them. I had to wait on hold over 20 minutes to get someone on the line who would let me cancel my card. So, today, I try to call them back to get more information on disputing the $80.00 bill and now they tell me they will not talk to me because I cancelled my card.

I am just going to contact the Iowa Attorney General's office and ask them for help.

MBNA = BAD

You could try filing a complaint at least.

13. I use CitiBank too....
but I don't feel that bad because I've never paid them a cent in interest, and they've given me hundreds of dollars in "cash back" bonuses.
