Ken Lay only hurt one or two people with his alleged evildoing. Martha destroyed many peoples whole life savings and cost them their jobs. That is why she will go to prison and Kenny Boy will be pardoned.

Ken Lay was head of Enron! Many, many people have lost all their lives savings because of having all their 401K money in company stock and being barred from transferring it to other funds. These are people who are too old to save again for retirement. Martha's crime netted her about $60,000 profit, plus the stock has gone back up.
