1. I have no idea.
Since I didn't follow any of those cases closely enough to have all the evidence that the jury had, I wouldn't feel comfortable passing judgement on any of them.

4. i'd also have to express a reasonable doubt re: Michael Jackson
he may be kinda...okay, VERY whacky- but that doesn't make him "guilty" of anything.

11. Some doubt may remain but not much because it's his
second time around and he did pay at least 20 million to get out of the last one. That doesn't sound like a completely innocent person. They must have had a lot to squeeze that much out of him. Also, he is enamored with (other people's) children to a very large degree for a 40 some year old man.

3. The three vertict possibilities they've had in Scotland would be
a great help and make a lot of sense: Guilty, Not Guilty and Not Proven.

5. Leonard Pelteir IS NOT GUILTY
Ken Lay and Rush are. Don't know about Scott. I used to think so, but now I have huge doubts considering the way she was killed, it smacks of ritual and pre-planning to me. With Michael Jackson, I'd like to think not.

7. Only Limbaugh and Lay ... at least to my own level of certainty.
I take "beyond a reasonable doubt" and "preponderance of evidence" quite seriously.

9. I think all were/are guilty with the possible exception of Townsend
Though I think the prosecutor should have used discretion with Martha Stewart.

10. Lots of of Guilt
OJ Guilty
Rush Guilty of Being a Hypocrite Asshole, but I'd be a hypocrite if I thought he should go to jail.
Peltier Not Guilty
Stewart Guilty
Lay Guilty
Mumia -- Guilty
Pete Guilty (I know he did it, but can't decide whether to buy his excuse or not)
Michael Jackson -- I have no idea.
Scott Peterson -- I might get slammed for this, but I think it is a rush to judgment to assume he's guilty, because of the hype. It would take a seriously fucked up individual to do what was done to Laci Peterson -- I learned from Forensic Files and CSI that that kind of violence is usually reserved for someone that someone HATED or represented someone that someone hated (like the Green River killer and his mother). I don't know if someone who wanted to clear out his life for an affair would have done that. Maybe he would have killed her -- but wasn't like, the baby delivered and THEN killed? Or maybe I just have bad information.
