What is the problem with heinz foundations
I was just talking to a rightie about how silly it is for them to protest slimfast.. then we started talking about heinz foundations and she said that I would boycott them too if i knew about them...
uhm...
i really dont know much about it to be honest... so could you fill me in good and bad tia

1. your rightie friend has been hearing the RW rumors about Heinz
they allege that the foundations gives $ to radical groups.

is that they fund environmental health issues. They offer a scholarship to someone seeking advanced degrees in environmental health.

They had a conference on women and environmental health - something no one really cares about.

There may be other foundations that do other things, but this one is great!

Corporations do not want research into environmental health issues.
