As bad as most of us have it during the reign of Bush The Stupider, people like Amy and Bob Borosage and Eli Pariser, whose life is spent trying to take the country back, must get discouraged pretty often. To those and others like them, a big THANKS, WE LOVE YOU! :toast:

They could have used the nearly forty million they got from selling their Silicon Valley business in far more selfish pursuits, but lucky for us they didn't. They used it to found and maintain Moveon, one of the best liberal groups EVER. And here's hoping that they keep on moving on!!!

9. I saw Amy Goodman speak last week. I felt humbled in her presence.

She's touring to promote her book, "Exception to the Rulers." I saw her at Exit Art gallery in NYC. One memorable thing she said was that the media is the only profession given special treatment by the Constitution because it's supposed to be a check on the government, not a megaphone for it.
