The LSM should come to my neighborhood and interview Hispanics who are here legally, citizens and folks with green cards. They are the ones getting displaced by the invasion of illegal immigrants. Boy are they going to be shocked if Kerry wins, and the UN determines our immigration policies. It is going to be a sad day for lower, middle-class Hispanics, blacks and whites. Pedro and his extended family is coming to take your jobs, to take your place in emergency rooms, school rooms, to rape your women, rob your homes and kill you, all courtesy of the UN. If you complain they will prosecute you for hate speech.

has something happened in the country cuase i personally havent necessarily seen an excalation in crime from mexicans. the one picked on had always been african american though it is generally against their own people. first time dad mouthed i was talking police and their abuses and how extreme now a days and he says it is the mexican, going around shooting cops. i havent heard a sweeping crime wave of mexicans. or is it just the over the border and loss of jobs people are pinning everthing on them, because i havent heard this talk of their race yet.

I'm around undocumented immigrants daily, loads of them, and I've never gotten the sense they were just frothing at the mouth to rape me, a gringa.

And Pedro? I know him. He cleans my GOP friends' houses. He's a good man who would give you the shirt off his back no matter what. He's patient enough to help me with my espanol.

The Mexican family who lives across the street from us brings us homemade tamales all the time and invites the whole street to their birthday parties. Some of the nicest people I've ever met.

I know it's all anecdotal, but that guy's garbage is just that--garbage. Fear-based racism. Sigh.

He really needs to get a grip, get out and MEET some undocumented immigrants. They aren't ALL angels, I'm sure, but I have yet to meet one I wouldn't trust my life with. They do horrible things like go to Wal-Mart and buy fabric to send back to their abuelitas in Durango to sew clothes for their children. Horrible, I know.
