Would as many progressive voters come out to stop State Marriage Amend . .
There is a theory that the GOP is coordinating state elections to include a vote to amend State Constitutions to ban gay marriages, even though many of those states already ban them.

The GOP base would be energized to vote (and churches might even encourage this as a moral issue), but shouldn't this issue bring out the progressives in each state also and make the additional voter increase a push?
