if every DUer registered 18 voters every Saturday from now to election day, especially in key states, we would assure Bush's political damnation and be able to cast him into the electoral abyss, for time everlasting.

Like the way I put Bush's political demise in biblical terms? feel free to borrow it.

5. Please tell us how you did it!
I want to do this, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

The people I talk with who are Bush* supporters get mad when I try to show them facts. I must come on too strongly, or maybe I'm approaching the wrong people.

How do I find undecideds? What's the best way to approach them? What do I do to ensure that they register and vote?

Please tell us how you did it. And Congratulations!

6. Volunteer with your closest Democratic congress person's campaign
Edited on Sun Jul-18-04 12:53 AM by T Bone
is how I did it. They actually know WHERE to send you to find unregistered democrats. They will give you a clipboard, and voter registration forms. No democratic congress person nearby ? Find your county Democratic party. Tell them you want to register voters. Tell them you want to be sent to under-registered neighborhoods. They know where those are. Tell them you want to be sent to events like fairs, etc where the unregistered voters will come TO YOU when they see your Kerry shirt, then you register them !!

Here's another trick. Research & Find a neighborhood that votes heavily democartic. Look for areas in republican neighborhoods near it that "look" the same as the democratic stronghold, but seem to be under-registered. GO there and register voters. that does take a little research, but the party can help on that.
