What are the chances of an Independent investigation into Delay? |
|
It seems obvious that Tom Delay broke Texas law with his PAC using funds in Texas state elections. And just as obvious that the House Committee on Ethics is biased, with 4 members receiving funds from him. What kind of pressure has to be brought and to whom to get an investigator looking into the piece of shit known as the "Hammer"?

It looks like the repugs in general are teflon coated. From the election fraud on, law, truth, science has been ignored, because of a repug majority, and other "pressures". The Valerie Plarme case for an example, with it's delays and foot dragging by the Justice dept. Now a Grand Jury is the delay. I've never seen a Grand Jury take so long to render a decision. With the "hammer" calling in all his hedges, I expect he will miss this bullet too, a shame, because he is obviously guilty, the facts say so much.

7. Federal grand Juries take their time. |

What's their hurry, the longer someone sweats the better they like it. Take a look at our ex-Governor John Rowland. Under investigations for years, forced to resign, members of his administration being indicted, he's just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Of course, that's not to say there is going to be a real investigation into the Plame case.

DeLay can be indicted in TX, without the special investigation, and Morrison is benefitting from the flack, even now.

the DA of Travis county, Texas investigation of this same issue is still rolling along. While some repugs consider Earle, a Democrat, to be partisan, he has been none partisan in his various investigations of Texas politicians. Unfortunatly for us these things take time. I want Delay broken. I really want him defeated by a Democratic candidate but I would accept him serving time in Huntsville or better yet, Rosharan where the Hammer could wait for the lights of the Sugarland Express to shine on him. Maybe then he would see the light.
