Bush invaded the wrong country!
"The 9-11 Commission report emphasizes there is no evidence suggesting that Iranian officials had advance knowledge of the September 11 plot. Still, the report raises new, sharper questions about whether the Bush administration was focused on the right enemy when it decided to remove Saddam Hussein. The NSA memo adds to a large accumulation of intelligence indicating that Iran has had more suspicious ties to Al Qaeda than Iraq did."

OK. Before I'm flamed, let me state categorically that I don't think he should have invaded any country.

Still, it is amazing how badly Bush has failed. It's like he took a true-false quiz and somehow ended up with less than 50%.

The guy has 9/11 happen on his watch. Everybody says "if only we had connected the dots." Then what does Bush do? After the 9/11 intelligence failures, Bush makes the single biggest intelligence mistake in history.

Then he says things like "I'll never forget the lessons" of 9/11. I guess his grades in college really did tell us how Bush learns lessons. He must have skipped the class where they teach presidents to double-check intelligence before they go to war.

4. I am not on board for an invasion of Iran
And if they dare to start a draft to feed the war machine for a war with Iran I will not participate.

5. You would think that God would know the difference
between Iran and Iraq, but evidently he got them mixed up during one of his heart to hearts with the Idiot in Chief.

6. Oh probably--but you know the drill--since we are there........
we may as well see to it that the reconstruction of Iraq goes through--reconstructing all that we destroyed and corporations making billions of dollars, reconstructing.

So--onward to Iran!!! Let us destroy Iran also, so we can reconstruct it.

Sad thing is that tens of thousands of dead people, many of them children, will never be "reconstructed"

and NO ONE mentions that.

NO ONE.

Not Clinton, Not Kerry, not Edwards, naturally not Bush, and not the sour pickles, and not the strapless sisters whose attention is to get to the swimming pool because they need some refreshment after all that stress of campaigning for their evil, lying father.

Laura said that they were "distinguished" at their respective colleges. Anyone ever hear of what "distinguished" them?

And while we have the strapless sisters, as modo called them, waiting to go to the pool, we see the slaughter their father has caused and the chaos and the grief and the shame for Americans.

Tens of thousands of innocent people were killed by us when we bombed a city to bits with mega bombs and shock and awe.

NO ONE mentions it.

Nothing to see here--move on--reconstruct. Don't mention it at all. It never happened.

Get to the pool to wash that spot right out of your hand.

7. Of course he invaded the wrong country

The right countries are:

1. Afghanistan - well we did sort of make an effort, but we didn't
catch the bad guys and we were successful at re-instituting the
opium trade. Grade C-

2. Saudi Arabia - they are directly behind the spread of Wahabi Islam
and they fund it with our petro dollars (the real drug that supports
terrorism). Of course, there are many issues with invading the
Kingdom, starting with a religious war with all of Islam. Other
factors include the close relationship that the royal family has
with our royal family (ooops, I mean the BFEE).

3. Pakistan - Directly supported both the Taliban and OBL, the
intelligence service is said to be very involved with supporting
terrorism and the spread of WMDs (nukes).

Oh, well, I guess now we invade Iran.

12. I'm currently reading Richard Clarke's book,
and I'm thinking Iran should be in that list, also. He catalogs an amazing amount of terrorist plots and bombings that can be traced to Iran. And Saudi Arabia covered for them, refused to give intelligence info they had that could implicate Iran. They didn't want us going after Iran. (This was during the Clinton Administration.)

15. The list was a little bit of sarcasm

We shouldn't go around invading anyone. not with armies and bombs
and shit. The war on terrorism is much better fought with
intelligence, police methods, and, when needed, covert ops.
But armies? No. That is falling right into the hands of terrorists.
Armies of occupation are just what the terrorists want. Global Jihad.
Arrest or disruption of their plans disheartens them, reduces their
ability to recruit. And they dry up and go away. Especially if
you couple the above techniques with a demonstrable fair foreign
policy and work to provide jobs and trade and tolerance for the
people that they use as recruits.

Afghanistan was a possible exception, but we should have gone in
with massive force, on the ground. And with all of the other
nations of the UN (including Arabic and other Islamic troops).

9. You're being much too picky

all the Neocon's care about is that it has A-RABS in it.

Wait, Iran is Persian. I guess they're not even that picky. Let's just say its time for the 2nd Crusades ...
