Chris Moore on KDKA in Pittsburgh now may vote for Nader. |
|
F him. I'll never listen to him again.
KDKA is now a complete Repug station.
I'm getting XM.

1. Will he be on the Pennslyvania ballot? |
|
He can't vote for him if he is not on the ballot. Well he can, but most states don't waste their time counting write-in votes.

4. Yes I think he will be on the ballot |
|
Pa Democrats are such an entrenched bunch of centrist white good old boys, that Nader has a lot of support here.

A vote for Nader is esentially a vote for Bush.

Sirius carries the entire AAR lineup (144), it also has another channel devoted to liberal talk show hosts (143).
Plus, XM has clear channel money in it.

... when I listened to a demo unit.

Kerry's ahead in PA by about the margin Gore won by in 2000 (around 5 points) and that doesn't include undecideds. He'll win the state.

18. Lancaster newspaper forum |
|
I read an online newspaper article about Bush visiting the Amish, which I scarcely believed, that was followed by "forum" comments, most of them quite anti-Bush. I found that response heartening because Lancaster is supposed to be even more Republican than Harrisburg.

7. Are you sure Moore was not joking? |
|
I have listened to Moore a lot and I get the impression that he understands the stakes in this 2004 election. I sincerely doubt Moore would vote for Nader.

8. He wasn't joking. He just said it. |

He says its because Kerry is no different than Bush on the "war".
Like Kerry would have put us in Iraq.

9. KDKA has sure gone down the toilet! |
|
I remember KDKA back in the 60s and 70s. Loved Rege Cordic, Jack Bogut, Bob Tracey, Bil Steinbach and especially Art Pallan. I left in 1982 for Los Angeles, I came back when my dad died in 2002 and put on KDKA and was totally shocked hearing what shit was coming out of the radio. Instead of friendly Art Pallan, there was the hate mongering Pigboy, followed by pompous Fred Honsberger and a couple other pompous Rush clones. What a shame!

11. Pratt can be a jackass, but I'll give him credit |
|
for voicing at least some opposition to the war in Iraq. He's asking questions about it, finally. Unfortunately, the only real time I hear him do this is very early on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
He's still a tool, but even tools can come around a little bit!

|
Better programming, and you're not putting money in Clear Channel's pocket. They carry Air America full-time as well as having a second progressive/liberal talk channel. Plus their music programming is better.

21. KDKA has been a Republican piece of crap station for years now |
|
KDKA used to be one of, if not the very best AM stations in the country. Their local talk radio was the best. People listened all over the country to KDKA's 50,000 watt "clear channel" signal. It was entertaining. Not partisan or political at all and it was all local! Now it's just another piece of shit conservative radio station. At least they still have the Bucco's games but that's the only redeeming feature left at the nation's very first radio station. It's very very sad indeed.
