Two friends told me earlier today told me that Bush won't win.
The people are sick of this war and there are no jobs and the economy is not getting better. His popularity is low and more people are turning against him.

I said, on a level playing field, no. They may try to cheat though.

these people are insane, they`ll do anything to stay in power. I've got these feelings of anxiety all the time now, and I've never been a timid or anxious guy. And it has to do with my gut sensation that something awful is going to happen before the election, perpetrated by Bush and Company.

2. Let's hope that they don't get away with it.
and that even if they try, to carry something out, that it won't succeed. The entire future depends on us to get the Republicans out of power.

3. I agree, but
unfortunately, they've already gotten away with 9/11. Wheather you subscribe to mihop or lihop, they are still culpable any way you cut it.

4. Yes.
THis is why we need to keep fighting them and scrutinizing them. It is getting to the point where bad news for them is getting more common. It sounds like the 9/11 commission is not going to be overly kind to them.

5. You know what I think??
I think that if Kerry-Edwards win in November, well, they don't actually go into office until January do they? I'm more afraid of AFTER the elections if they win. Then the present admin could call martial law and everything would be at a standstill until further notice.........

How's that for paranoid thinking?? :tinfoilhat:

6. Not paranoid. It's occured to me.
The damage they could do as three-month lame-ducks if they lose the election is almost as scary as the damage they'll do if they win. I could easily doing as much damage as possible to everything they could get their hands on. Gutting what's left of the infrastructure, stacking the judicial system, and trashing economy so Kerry/Edwards are left holding the bag when in finally collapses. Of course the corporate media will blames the for everything. Sorta the reverse of what Raygun did to Carter with the release of the Iran hostages.

7. Yes, everyone forgets they don't get "in" until January.
Anything can happen between now and then. Everyone's expecting something before the elections. I don't think things will perk up until afterwards when everyone's guard is let down.
