Can't get tickets to see Bush unless....
...you are a registered republican. Ticketing for events are being handled by "grassroots" groups.

Noticed the little article in my newspaper yesterday.

Guess he's really afraid of dissent.

Of course, this also means that they are just trying to hang on to their "base" and not trying to lure new people over to the dark side.

When Kerry comes, tickets are available to anyone who asks for them. He doesn't fear dissenting views, it seems.

3. How does he expect to win an election, just hanging on to his base?!?!
The man is out of his alleged mind. He can't claim to be a moderate this time out. And he is pandering to his base to the exclusion of crossover Dems and Indies. That's good for us.

4. Could It Be That KKKarl Knows He Is Going Down?
Could it be that the right-wing must stage manage all events like some past regimes?

Could it be that Republican party is nothing more than a sham, a party for the ultra-wealthy masquerading as middle class friendly?

Girls and boys, can you say hypocrisy?

6. Has any other American pResident ever done this?
Been so scared he can't walk the streets, or speak in front of a crowd of just plain old American people? The man was a Coward during the Viet Nam War and he is still a coward to this day! How can people believe a coward would be the best person to lead America?

7. Everywhere Bush goes people are detained and questioned, and
sometimes arrested, for crimes such as wearing a Kerry teeshirt.
Nelson said he was ejected after being caught sporting a T-shirt endorsing the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, though he said it was fully hidden beneath a heavy cotton button-down shirt.

. . . .

Whether betrayed by a Republican informant or by a dash of Kerry green above the buttons, Nelson found himself plucked from the line and ordered to shed his outer shirt.

. . . .

Once exposed, the female election worker who singled Nelson out snatched the VIP ticket from his hand and called for police, he said.

“Look at his shirt! Look at his shirt!” Nelson recalled the woman telling the Ashwaubenon Public Safety officer who answered the call.

Nelson said the officer told him, “You gotta go,” and sternly directed him to a Secret Service contingent that spent seven or eight minutes checking him over before ejecting him from the property.
