. . it's obvious to me that much of male behavior in this country or any patriarchal culture for that matter, is learned streotypical behavior - and does not represent the true internal feelings of males. In fact, they are a camoflage for those feelings.

i.e. there's nothing normal about males who try hard not to show affection or let their true feelings for others be known. It's all to keep from being called a sissy when we are little boys - or, even worse, having our fathers think we are.

to answer your first question, NO! I take care of myself. There is a lot here that I would like to talk about but I am leaving, I have a farm to run (he has nothing to do with it, I do it myself) but I will be back and interested to see where this goes if it does go anywhere. I appreciate men as individuals, strong or weak it does not matter to me because those are only two very small things. I do not appreciate being taken care of in the manner you suggest. There is just too much here for me to talk about now but I will be back in a couple of hours.

. . on this interesting subject. This can obviously go several layers deep. And it requires some more thought on my part than I gave to my first comment. It looks like there are a few others (VelmaD and redqueen) who have some some strong opinions on this, too.

Though I don't agree with Ah-nolds comments. I get a kick out it when some stupid freeper makes a comment about "liberal wussies" because when I call them on it they always back out.If any freeper moran says shit like that to my face, he'll end up with a broken jaw.
