Fox & Friends Tease Vanessa Kerry
From NewsHounds:

The Hot One

On Fox & Friends (July 19, 7:10 a.m.) Vanessa Kerry, daughter of John, was interviewed about the preparations for the democratic convention. After a couple of minutes of prep talk, E.D. Hill changed the subject with, "It's no shock to you but your dad comes across as aloof.... and intellectually superior. When you were growing up, what's the bad thing that sticks out in your mind?"

Vanessa refused to play, among other things she said "being there for me" and "he gave me a sense of great strength - an extraordinary gift." Steve Doocy followed with a question about the Secret Service code name Vanessa had selected for herself. She refused to play again. When the interview ended, Doocy said the code name she selected was 'the hot one."

Comment: I guess the "fair and balanced" part was the discussion about the preparation for the convention. They covered it, so the snide comments are OK.

1. Fox & Friends always look like they either had too much coffee...
..or on crack, the cheap kind

2. No doubt they'll ask the Bush twins similar questions...
"It's no shock to you but your dad comes across as a blithering idiot... and intellectually below lettuce..."

3. I guess they're going to have to
if they want to live up to that "fair and balanced" thing.

4. Will they ask bushies daughters if their dad
comes across as a drunken imbecile? I won't hold my breath.

5. Hmm. Apparently, the Secret Service is leaking to Fox.
I'm sure the Bush admin will jump right on that leak:eyes:.

After all, they surely wouldn't compromise the safety of Vanessa Kerry to score political points, would they?

I don't know how anyone can take a show called 'Fox and Friends' seriously. It's like 'Bugs Bunny and Friends' or something. It's a joke.

11. I thought "FOX AND FLAKES" was more like it.
What will 19th Century Fox do when Kerry reinstates the Fairness Doctrine?

6. Asking her about her chosen Secret Service code is no more acceptable than
Novak's outing of Valerie Plame as a CIA analyst. Faux News hasn't been put in its place yet, but neither has Novak & his WH accomplice. Outrageous.

8. How did the "reporter" know her code name?
Shouldn't that be secret? I mean, what if a terrorist got wind of that, it could be disastrous. Said it in another post, I'll say it again, Fox "news" can kiss my ass.

10. Everytime I watch Fox and Friends
I get the urge to punch the hosts in the mouth. Fortunately I have yet to carry out on that desire.
