Lawrence Eagleburger...." I would think that he ought to be impeached. "
Edited on Mon Jul-19-04 05:44 PM by in_cog_ni_to
Remember that statement? I DO because my jaw dropped to the floor when he said it. Daddy chimp's Secretary of State, Lawrence Eagleburger said this back in April of 2003. Remember? I wonder what Eagleburger thinks about the mantra coming out of the chimps mouth now? Has he called for impeachment yet?

on 13 April 2003 former U.S. Secretary of State (under President Bush Sr., no less!) Lawrence Engleburger told the BBC:

"If George Bush decided he was going to turn the troops loose on Syria and Iran after that he would last in office for about 15 minutes. In fact if President Bush were to try that now even I would think that he ought to be impeached. You can't get away with that sort of thing in this democracy."

1. He's absolutely right.
I agree with the bloated bag of fermented pigshit. An invasion of Iran is insanity. We will have to take to the streets to stop another illegal war. We cannot allow the USA to become an aggressor nation under a corrupt corporate cabal. WE WILL have to take to the streets.

4. I am a federal troop.
I am a vet currently in the IRR. I will take to the streets to protest. Massive peaceful civil disobedience, not armed rebellion, is what would be called for.

5. I'll be in the same situation as you are. We could try the Black Knight's
idea from Monty Python's 'Quest for the Holy Grail' - "I'll bite your legs off!"

I am anxiously awaiting a updated statement from Eagleburger....give the little asshole chimp ANOTHER warning! He's too dense to get it the first time around.

7. What kind of "change of heart?"
I haven't seen him lately. I was hoping the recent Iran stories would bring him out. If he has changed his mind on Iran, papa chimp must have had a nice little chat with him.

If he thought invading Iran was insane back in 2003, why the hell would he think differently now? The situation is even WORSE now.

G-d help us. :(

8. Remember how he was on the "shows".......
talking about jr invading Iraq and he was sooo against it? Well, I've seen him on these same shows recently and he now defends jr enthusiastically. I wish I could remember exact quotes but I cannot. It was more of a change of tone in his comments about jr and his stupid foreign policy.
