2. I may regret asking this......
But who did?

I had an interesting chat with a green US lobbyist a couple of months ago who swore blind that it was upper echelons of the Republican Party. He cited some good examples of previous 'own goals' but I'm still not sure that I can believe that.

Any good websites for further reading would be much appreciated.

3. how the hell would I know?
i don't know who did it. i know that everybody in the bush white house is a proven liar and every word that's ever come out of their mouths has been lies.

why should i believe the official white house story and the 19 photos of arab men published the very next day? like they said about clinton, you lie once, you are a congenital liar and NOTHING you say can be believed.

i have my suspicions of course.

4. Well in most crimes....
They look to who would have a motive and benefit from the crime. That might be something to think about.

6. I would have to be convinced that he didn't.
I know Saddam didn't have anything to do with it, but I firmly believe that Osama did since I haven't seen much convincing evidence to the contrary. I'm not a tinfoil hat person just so you know.

7. As bizarre as nobody giving a shit about anthrax being sent via US Mail
anymore. As bizarre as millions of people collectively forgetting what happened a month before and accepting the exact opposite of what was told at that time. As bizarre as witnessing millions of people stare glassy-eyed at TVs and not questioning anything they see, and later parroting what they were told... as if test subjects in a B.F. Skinner experiment.

12. that's because they have problems with basic math
consider that osama is postulated to support, control, and bankroll al qaeda.

according to the u.s. gov't al qaeda has 100,000 members.

according to documents i don't have a link to right now, osama's share of the "family fortune" was $300,000,000 - back in the early 90's.

so now we do the math - osama's money provides ~$300 per operative per year. heck, that's not even enough to fund one night of atta's strip-club visitation. where's he getting the money for the other 364 days/year (or 365 if it's a leap year?).

see, it's absolutely crucial that the repubs keep the school system as dumbed down as possible, or else everyone could see instantly see their propaganda for the bullshit it really is
