COLD WAR in the Middle East – The Bush Legacy

Neocons have a basic paranoia about nuclear war.
Perhaps they can’t stand the thought of the EVIL side having such weapons....or that they could possibly want to defend themselves.

They also fundamentally believe that Reagan brought down the iron curtain with the threat of star wars and or other guns a blazin...

But the truth is...there was little to no possibility of war between the US and Soviet Union BECAUSE OF NUKES. The Soviets simply matured to the point that a continued conventional army buildup was pointless.

You see....nukes maintained the peace....and eventually drove the peace. We had enough nukes of every conceivable shape and size AND the direct built in military doctrine to use them...therefore...there was no point in going to war.

As a matter of fact, the specific US fighting doctrine in the European scenario called for the use of nukes at a pre-described point which would have been a threshold at which we were “losing the war” in Europe.

We actually accepted the fact that we had much less tanks and planes in NATO compared to the Soviets....even below what is normally viewed as the safe "3 to 1" ratio disadvantage which an army fighting on the DEFENSIVE side can absorb.

But why would we accept a force disadvantage of much less than 3 to 1?

Answer is simple....we had and WOULD USE NUKES.

Now....don't be surprise ...Mr. Bush and the other brain dead neocons you employ....when our newly invigorated enemies in the Middle East start to use the same tactic.

IRAN has the resources to develop a full embodied nuke capability...and perhaps they even have a deployable capability right now....but you can bet your bottom dollar that whatever they have....they'll be proceeding full steam to make it better.

It's the ONLY way they can assuredly avoid being the next "IRAQ".

Now perhaps if it hadn’t been for Bush...we may have had some chance at working with these countries and getting them to avoid the "necessity for nukes".

Why the necessity....
When you’re faced with a real and dangerous threat....aka the US/Israel...and you have an unacceptable force disadvantage....

VWOLA....you turn to NUKES!

Already there have been open discussions on TV this weekend about the possibility of the US “risking” surgical strikes against IRAN to take out the nuke threat. I can just hear the discussions between Rumsfeld, Bush, et al concerning how “doable” this plan might be. Hell, they’d say....what are they gonna do....try to nuke the US (LOL)?

But when you’re living under the ideology of nuclear paranoia....you don’t worry about the ramifications of what might happen...such as further world wide opinion against us....or even potential war down the road with Russia.

FURTHER YET....YOU DON'T EVEN THINK....
