Personally, I think it's INCREDIBLY demeaning to call Bush "CHIMP" |
|
Chimps are some of the most intelligent creatures in the animal kingdom, probably second to humans (although of course, it's more complicated than that).
:)
* I'm perfectly aware that this could well be an EXTREMELY old and tired joke. Oh well. I thought of it just now and I feel like basking. :P

2. I stopped calling him "dumber than a brick..." |
|
...because I thought the remark insulting to bricks, which have no control over the circumstance that they're inanimate objects without a brain.

every time I see Dennis miller's chimp Mowgli, I think of bush. Wonder if miller is freudian slipping.

there is a website that has photos of Bush on the one side, and it has a photo of a chimp on the other. In similar poses.
Without exception, the chimps are cuter. They look more intelligent and thoughtful. With Bush, however, we see a thin veneer of civilization. The rest is arrogance, ignorance and hubris which the chimps have no sign of.

7. I always thought the "chimp" reference was about his looks, not his smarts |
|
because of course chimpanzees are much brighter and better tempered than Smirk. But they do suffer from that no-lip thing.
