man, I LOVE that Kerry commercial with Edwards |
|
talking about spending three minutes with his swift boat crew!
just saw it, and is it effective as all get out, or WHAT!
keep Edwards in the forefront
if they do enough of it, lots of dopes will think HE's the candidate
that's only for the good

2. best positive one I've seen |
|
lots of great antiboosh ones out there
but it really was inspiring, and I usually can't stand to watch campaign commercials from either side; too much treacle and smarm when they're positive. this one had its share, but it also had SUBSTANCE, unlike anything that Boosh has ever come out with
I'd LOVE to see somebody do a satire on this, with Boosh's Vietnam service a subject
"Just spend a few minutes with his dentist to see the sacrifice he made to the war effort. Those two fillings didn't come easy for our CINC."

3. Unfortunately, we don't see much here in Kansas City |
|
There's only one advertisement that we see here. Everything is all about Bush. They have given Cheney-Bush more free advertising than you'd believe. For several days prior to the bopsy twins arriving here in Missouri, the newscasters were telling about them on every damned newscast. It reached a point where we turned our television off until after the media would have their orgasms. Most of the channels here have so many giddy wannabee newscasters.
It would be so nice to live in another state besides a swing state. :puke: :spank:

4. Haven't seen a single one here in Texas |
|
and I think people are greatly underestimating how much the tide is turning here. I don't think we'll go blue or anything, but I can't wait to see those numbers for Texas after Nov. 2. Just today I met ten new Democrats who live in my area.
Come on, Kerry, if Texans who are for you amp up our donations, will you show just a few ads here to knock those fence sitters off the fence and on the Kerry side? Puh-leaze???

5. I see lots of ads here, but they're all on CNN, MSNBC, etc |
|
all national cable ads
Illinois is not showing any local ads, as it's out of reach for the fascists, as I wish all other states will soon become
if you watch cable news, you should be seeing ads for both parties
they're on a lot

Finally, I am feeling like there is a chance for us to win this and get our country back.

7. Always juxtaposed w/negative Bush ad by tv stations |
|
I've noticed, and CNN appears to do it a lot, that they'll usually follow-up the positive Kerry/Edwards ad within a few minutes by the Bush ad smearing Kerry for "Missing 2/3 of Senate votes while campaigning" "Voting against armor for our troops" and my personal fave, "Voting against the Laci Peterson law, which would protect pregnant women from violence!" :puke:
It really does show how pathetic the Bush camp is.
