Republican Party Census Document
They sent me another one of these even after I honestly answered the last one and mailed it without a contribution. Here it is, copied verbatim and submitted for both amusement and discussion. Each question has YES, NO and Undecided for possible answers except for the questions about the future of the Republican party.

They really want you to think it's a census. The capitalization is theirs.

Instructions:
Please check to make sure your name and address are correct. Please make any changes to the right of your name.

Using a blue or black ink pen, please completely color in the circle that most accurately reflects your view on each question. If you are unsure about a question, skip it and go on to the next one.

Return your completed CENSUS DOCUMENT to the RNC for distribution to Party Leaders in the next 7 days.

Enclose your most generous gift to help the RNC expand the CENSUS PROJECT to 5.5 million participants.

1. This is a laugh.

6. Lawyer's question to husband on the stand during divorce hearing
Sir, do you still beat your wife?

If the answer is "no", that means that he did beat his wife, but has stopped. If "yes", then he beats his wife...

The courts never allow questions like this.

4. I don't know what it takes!
I'm in Ohio, so I think they're casting a wide net in the hope some of us have jumped on board with them.

I think the mail delivery person must think I'm Cybil. One day he's delivering Ohio Democratic Party things, the next he's got this GOP stuff.

3. I Mailed Mine Back
I amiled my Republican so-called "census" document with a message written on it that I hope Dubya loses and that I look forward to President Kerry's inauguration.

While I doubt that my individual response had any effect, I hope that enough people send similar responses back to the RNC to severely rattle their cages.

5. Since it's prepaid postage
You get to cost them a little money anyway.

Maybe this time I'll add some loose nickels to the envelope.
