Grilling Berger...I just don't get it. |
|
Berger kept copies of HIS OWN NOTES and reports! His own thoughts he put down on paper.
Sheesh! For all the hub-bub, you would think he took copies of Cheney's secret energy meeting notes or Bush's military records or something....

2. CBS evening news went so far as to report it as spin... |
|
They mentioned that the story has been around for months, but was leaked now, because the 9-11 Commission report is due to come out.
They also said at the end of the story that it was reported late this evening that no criminal charges would be filed against Berger.
I have no idea how the other networks reported on it. I only watch CBS. Lately, they have seemed halfway fair in their reporting.

Berger kept, took, or removed. But - Cheese & Rice - the man was National Security Adviser - he knows the rules. What stupidity! Do not create an appearance of criminality when there is nothing to gain - Do not hand your opposition ammunition.
