A man upset that he was not able to vote rammed his truck through the doors of Lebanon Baptist Church Tuesday night, according to Fulton County police.

The incident happened at about 7:20 p.m. at precinct RW-18.

The man apparently drove up to the double doors of the church, hit them once, drove down the hallway of the church and stopped next to where the voting was taking place.

The man then proceeded outside on Crabapple Road.

A police officer was slightly injured in a scuffle with the man, authorities said.

He has been taken into custody.

7. Ah, those Baptist churches and their double doors!

The 11 Alive article said the incident occurred at a polling place at Lebanon Baptist Church, where

"The man apparently drove up to the double doors of the church, hit them once, drove down the hallway of the church and stopped next to where the voting was taking place."

If you live in Georgia and you drive around on a Sunday morning, you'll notice that almost every Baptist church has double doors on the front, but they only have one of them open. You see, Baptists are so narrow, they can walk in four abreast through that one open door.
