Based on an “investigation” notable only for failing to interview a single firsthand eyewitness, the National Commission on Terrorism’s report will totally ignore the big dirty secret lying at the heart of the 9/11 coverup: elite deviants trafficking narcotics.

Mohamed Atta’s ability to roam at will across America—despite having his name on the CIA’s terrorist watch list—was not due to official incompetence or bureaucratic snafu, but to Atta’s status as a good earner, in a lucrative drug trafficking operation which linked Osama bin Laden’s thugs and drug lieutenants to their equally-thuggish American counterparts.

Bob Simpson in Venice, Florida was contacted by the FBI three days after the Sept. 11 attack. They questioned him closely about an Atta associate in Venice from the Middle East who owned a convenience store.

“I’m the day driver for Yellow Cab in Venice, and he (Atta) was in my cab a bunch of times in August,” explained Simpson. “The night driver had him even more than I did. The FBI was especially interested in a rich Saudi guy—dressed in Armani, shades, manicure, a gold Rolex— that I’d been sent to pick up at the Orlando Executive Airport. They knew he’d ridden in my cab because they’d gotten my cab number from a surveillance camera there.” . . .

Exactly 1000 days after hijacked airliners crashed into the World Trade Center the American people finally heard public testimony, during the final hearings of the 9/11 Commission last week in Washington, D.C., about the plot that took nearly 3000 lives

It wasn’t worth the wait.

“9/11: the Plot” was the subject of a day-long hearing on what were supposed to be the specifics of the conspiracy.

But the distortions, inaccuracies, omissions, and evasions offered during the session suggests that the real 9/11 plot involves efforts by the FBI to keep the American people in the dark, for whatever reason, about the facts of the attack.

Still, the trickle of new evidence released seemingly cleared up several questions and conspiracy theories some found compelling: the notion that there weren’t any Arab hijackers on the planes, and the suspicion of a NORAD stand-down which allowed the attack to succeed.

Although the FBI has denied it even existed, the terrorist support network that provided assistance to Mohamed Atta and his fellow hijackers remains in place today in Florida.

Pointing to current and recent cases involving suspected members of the terrorist infrastructure, private investigators say the network is not only operational but that its members show little or no fear of federal authorities.

Several recent cases in the Venice-Sarasota area illustrate what one investigator called this “frightening situation.”

The first involves 38-year-old Sarasota ‘businessman’ Wissam Taysir Hammoud, a native of Lebanon. Just three days before Christmas last year, while last-minute preparations for the approaching holiday occupied most thoughts, Hammoud went shopping, too… for a hit man.

Hammoud was willing to pay to have two men killed in particularly grisly ways: a federal informant and an agent with the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

9. Not to mention

the US admin and various US energy corp's dealings with the Taliban pre-9/11. If David Hicks (among hundreds of others) can be sent to Gitmo for "aiding the enemy" by training with and fighting for the Taliban (against the Northern Alliance) prior to the WTC bombings I'm not sure why the entire Bush-bunch aren't there with him.

I wouldn't have fought alongside that particular bunch of religious Nazi's for love nor money but I wouldn't have tried to do business with them either.

Did no one question why the same Iran/Contra players were back under Junior's administration? They're back running the same games and they hit the ground running. We've got the mafia running Washington and no one's mentioning it. Mind boggling. They all belong in prison. The 9/11 Commission is turning out to be a bigger joke that I had previously thought.

As we head into a hot summer of Presidential campaigning focused on the war in Iraq, both political parties are assiduously avoiding the "elephant in the living room."

The truth which no one dares speak of is that as we approach the third anniversary of the Sept 11 attack there has still been no official investigation into the murders of 3000 people that day...at least no investigation to which the American people have been privy.

Results from the FBI’s ballyhooed 4000-man investigation have never been revealed. And the Congressional Intelligence Committee investigation met in secret; its report contained the famous 28 page "gap."

And anyone looking to the 9/11 Commission to offer answers will be disillusioned to learn the panel was only charged with identifying what might have prevented the White House, Pentagon, CIA, and FBI from being taken by surprise in a way not seen since Pearl Harbor.

The 9/11 Commission, in other words, will answer only the question of what should have been done differently. There’s nothing in the panel's mandate about letting the American people in on the answer to the only question worth asking: what happened?
