"Ronstadt Will Continue Praising Moore"

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Linda Ronstadt said she'll continue to praise Michael Moore and his film "Fahrenheit 9/11" on stage despite an angry reaction at a Las Vegas concert.

"This is an election year," she told the Los Angeles Times Tuesday. "I want people to get their head up out of their mashed potatoes and learn something about the issues and go and vote. ... I'm not telling them how to vote. I'm saying, get information about the issues."

When Ronstadt praised Moore and his documentary Saturday at the Aladdin hotel-casino, some in the audience stormed out of the theater and tore down concert posters.

The casino's president said he didn't allow the singer back in her luxury suite afterward and she was escorted off the property.

these Conservative vandals that tossed drinks, stormed from the venue and tore down posters. That's destruction of private property and seems a far more serious offense than Ronstadt's mentioning F/911. Put them in jail, they are the moral gatekeepers to our society, or so they say. Make them take personal responsibility for their actions.

5. I am astounded

by this. They broke the law and she gets punished? If it really has gotten this far and I am afraid it really has as proved by this incident then do we really have any chance at all? I am not a defeatest but this combined with the statement by Pelosi about not assigning blame is really getting me down. This is entirely backwards and it really happened. I am simply stunned.

I wish she wouldn't. I don't pay to attend a concert or other venues like that to hear what the head bone on the stage wants me to do.
I go there to relax and get away from all that.
