Bush made the world a safer place???? |
|
snip - During a campaign stop in Iowa, CNN reported Tuesday that President George Bush told cheering crowds he had made the world a safer place through his policies. He also defended his decision to go to war in Iraq.
I can't help but wonder - at what time in the past has the US had to send troops to the Olympics to protect its athletes? In fact, from the little research that I have looked into thus far, the only nation that does this is Israel after the hostage crisis. This goes againt the very spirit of the Olympic games sadly if it is necessary then how can Bush say that he made the world safer??????????????
