It took a while to think through what they had done. It should help them evaluate what people think is important in their lives and who worked toward those interests.

4. How did you rate Nixon?

Nixon was the one that gave me trouble. He actually did some good things on the environment and affirmative action. I rated him in the middle. I can't remember all of the choices but Reagan and Bush* were rock bottom. FDR, Clinton, and JFK I rated as Great.

I was glad that they asked if I was going to vote for Hoeffel or Specter. Of course, I said Hoeffel. Eisenhower was the only Republican I said was good -- but not great.
